Jump Rope Club

The Beaver Meadow Express Jump Rope Club is open for students grades 1-5.  This fun fitness activity will teach your child individual, partner and long rope jumping skills.  The focus of this club is teamwork, fun and personal fitness. We welcome all ability levels. Students progress from beginner, intermediate and advanced skills. Jump ropes will be provided as part of the $3.00 registration fee. The club is coached by Ms Nicosia, Ms. Franz and Mrs. Mosca
Applications will be sent out at the end of September.Registration Deadline is Thursday, October 8th.Return applications to Ms. Nicosia.
Due to Safety concerns, only 40 jumpers will be allowed in  each session. If we have over 40 jumpers that sign up, we will use a lottery to select jumpers.
Due to the overwhelming interest for the BMS Jump Club in grades 1-3. "Grade 3" students are being asked to join session #1 with grade 4 & 5. This will provide even grouping for both sessions. A Parent letter went home on Thursday, October 8 to confirm this change. Please return permission slip in regard to this change.
Jump Rope Club meets Monday afternoons on the following dates
Grade 4 & 5 will begin in October from 2:35-3:45pm in the BMS gym.Dates: October 19 & 26  November 2 &

Krypto Club

The club is open to all 4th and 5th grade students to learn and practice the game.  After the tournament, practice will be held for team members.  The team will participate for the district tournament
This club meets after school March - May from 2:35 - 3:15

SAP

The Student Actors Program is for students in grades 3, 4 and 5.  All students who wish to participate will need to audition but no one is cut from the program (unless behavior is an issue).  Mr. Hatab and Mr. Fogg will hand out information concerning auditions which traditionally have taken place in Late-September or Early October with a culminating SAP performance in early February.

Snow Shoe Club

Snow Shoe Club is open to students in Grade 5 only. We will explore the Merrimack River habitat behind Beaver Meadow School. Students will learn to snow shoe on varied terrain. Winter safety, appropriate dress, hydration and food will be discussed. Animal tracking will also be apart of our adventures.
Snow shoes will be provided or students may bring their own. Dates to be determined.  Usually we venture out in early March when there is more daylight and a good snow base. We take 4 trips which consist of two hours each. 2:30-4:30. Meet in the BMS Gym.
